Re-Defining Success

What the most desirable of all human beings? Answer only one: success. Success has been a need for any human beings on this earth. That's why people take a variety of ways to earn. One of them by way of formal education. Unfortunately, success is not something that can easily be achieved every person. The wise man always said, there is no success without sacrifice. There is no success without sacrifice!
Although success has become an absolute requirement of every human being after all not everyone has the same view about the meaning of success. Some regard it as wealth. This group generally devote his life to accumulate wealth. They see money as a symbol of success. That's why they became greedy and very deify money. Money becomes absolutely necessary oxygen for their lives.
Unfortunately people like this empty life. They are generally quick suspicious of others. Very difficult for them to think positively of others. If anyone tries to close, they then thought, "Maybe these people want to take my property." A Grand Master of wisdom once said people who come first property will not find the true meaning of life. "For where the treasure is, there are also heart," the advice of the Grand Master.
I do not deny that the wealth-money-especially important for life. Who would not need the money? A religious institutions and social institutions also needed money for its operations. How can we establish a place of worship without the money that is
donations from other people? Money is important but money is not everything. Money is a means to make our lives more meaningful. Both for themselves and others.
In addition to wealth, there are also people who identify with the calm life success. This group does not like all kinds. Some even tend to be passive and distanced himself from public life. This attitude is a choice and we can not
said it was wrong.
There are also people who identify with the success of fame. They are willing to take the long road uphill for popularity. Sometimes the long journey is very tiring, so some choose to practice shortcut ways less commendable, such as (sorry) to sell themselves. It was no secret that not a singer or movie star who once slept with the producer. Not all of those who take this path. I personally know many artists who continue to maintain his honor rather than exchanged for popularity.
Understand that success is usually synonymous with fame attested only in the early stages.Gradually, with increasing popularity, many are certain things happened that eventually makes a public figure (public figures) must refuse to understand this. For example with the corresponding loss of privacy because every move was monitored constantly by the press. Sometimes I am very sorry for myself to see how the life of an artist "diobok-obok" excessively by the media. The media always say that what is presented to satisfy curiosity readers or viewers. May have a point. To be sure, it is clear that success is not synonymous with fame.
Furthermore there is also a success with mendefiniskan health. This definition of me asking questions sometimes reflective, is not there so many people with the most excellent health, but his life is empty? They did not work and try to make life more meaningful.
So, what is the proper definition of success? I do not pretend to call themselves as experts had success because I still learning and find what the meaning of a true success. To be sure, I've read a definition of success that seemed interesting enough to refer us together. According to renowned motivator, Zig Ziglar, a true success covers eight areas of life, namely: happiness, health, financial (wealth), security, quality of friendship (has many friends), good family relationships, expectations about the future, and peace of mind. That is why we often hear people say that the rich do not necessarily successful, but successful people must be rich materially and spiritually.
However, success is not a final destination; success is a journey. Success is not a destination; Success is a journey! Yes, success is a journey! If we had managed to achieve a dream, we're still must go on. End of the trip is when we close our eyes and return to His presence. Motivator and leadership expert, Dr. John C. Maxwell always insisted that the trip was a success we are always doing what we should do. Essentially, follow the journey of success with the right and respect the process not the end result. How do you think?
